News flash! Our on-again-off-again JP Porch Fest appearance is back on-again! We will be performing at JP Porch Fest late afternoon this Saturday, July 7th. Details below.

Sunday, June 24th, 2018; 2 to 3 PM
Newton Free Library
330 Homer St, Newton, MA
We had a blast at this gig! What a great audience! It was a full house, with a very enthusiastic crowd. Thank you Newton! And thank you Aviva, the tragically cute little girl who is giving Shirley Temple a run for her money!

Some samples from our comment sheet: "Wow!" "Fantastic!" "Fabulous!" "Thank you for today. You are all adorable and so talented!" Wow indeed!

All we can say is, "Can we get that in writing?" Wait, it IS in writing! Score!

Our next gig is:
Saturday, July 7th, 2018; 4:45 to 5:45 PM
Jamaica Plain Porchfest 2018 RESCHEDULED
29 Robinwood Ave, Jamaica Plain, MA
This appearance has been RESCHEDULED! The JP PorchFest folks have pulled a rabbit out of their hat and we have a new venue at 29 Robinwood Ave, which is half a block East of Centre St and about a third of the way up from (North of) Pond St between Pond and Perkins. We'll be in the back yard garden behind the tan brick triple decker on the South (right hand side coming from Centre) side of Robinwood Ave."

Friday, July 13th, 2018; 7:30 to 8:30 PM
NOTE DATE CHANGE TO FRIDAY!
Thoreau Society Annual Gathering
First Parish In Concord
20 Lexington Rd, Concord, MA
Speaking of erudition, it will be on display in all its finery at the Annual Gathering of the Thoreau Society. While we can't promise to rise to the exalted intellectual level of the rest of the proceedings, we shall endeavor to shed light on a hitherto little-known corner of Thoreau scholarship; to wit, the relationship between Henry David Thoreau, Chuck Barry, and the transcendentalist school of rock and roll guitar. 1 It promises to be a revelatory performance!
1. We are preparing a small monograph on the subject.

A Capella Fans! See our guitar player in his incarnation as a Boston Jazz Voices baritone, appear on two episodes of the 4th season of the PBS TV program "Sing That Thing" (Premiere - we're at 10m15s and Episode 7 )!
